Purple Rosebud Sun Dress for Vintage Cissy Doll
Welcome!
Newly made dress for your vintage Cissy doll! Dress is made with vintage cotton fabric with purple/lavender rosebuds on a white background (fabric has original width of 36” dating it mid-century 1940’s-50’s). Fabric is lovely for it’s age! It is unwashed, clean and crisp with bright colors.
Dress bodice is sleeveless, square neck style. Bodice is lined with vintage cotton organdy (organdy width is 36”). It has val lace around neckline. Little satin bows on shoulders. A bouquet of linen rosebuds accent waist. Closes in back with 4 (vintage) square snaps with pearl button accents. The skirt is a generous 60” around, has a 2” hand sewn blind hem and is about 8” in length. Note- to bring out fullness of skirt a full slip is needed. It is shown with a slip in photos- slip is not included.
