Animal Print Velvet Skirt & Brown Jersey Knit Top for Cissy
Welcome!
Newly made skirt and top for your vintage Cissy doll.
The skirt is made from a pattern of Cissy's 1956 velvet swing skirt. This skirt is made with soft cotton velvet/velveteen in a chic animal print with brown background and and black spots. It has a black elastic waistband, closes in back with single black square snap. It is fully lined with soft white/ light ivory acetate taffeta. The top is made from a pattern of Cissy’s original top. It’s made with dark brown rayon jersey knit. It has a crew neck. (One difference with top is I added a sewn in crew neck collar instead of turned under facing). It closes in back with 4 square snaps. (In a couple photos the flash makes it appear kind of see through- the fabric is thin and has a silky feel- when held to light you can see through but not laying against something.) Added is a a double strand pearl necklace! Made with glass bead “pearls”, it closes with double box clasp.
It displays nice with and without petticoat. It is shown with slip in all photos except last it is shown without a slip. Slip is not included.
